Forklifts we buy

Every kind of forklift, in any shape

Forklifts work hard in the corridor: in warehouses and cold storage, at lumber and building supply yards, in mills, on farms and on job sites. When one wears out, it usually ends up in a corner of the yard. We'll take it from there.

Propane forklifts

The warehouse standard. Close the tank valve before pickup, and take the cylinder off if you can.

Electric forklifts

Sit-down and stand-up electrics. Leave the battery in; it's a big part of what the truck is worth.

Diesel forklifts

Yard and lumber forklifts, including high-capacity units with long forks.

Reach trucks and order pickers

Narrow-aisle trucks from warehouses, distribution and cold storage.

Rough-terrain forklifts

Big-tire forklifts from building sites, mills and farms.

Telehandlers

Boom forklifts from job sites. See skid steers, loaders and telehandlers.

Repair or sell

When a forklift isn't worth fixing

A mast rebuild, a new drive motor or a fresh battery pack can cost more than an older forklift is worth. That's usually when people call us. A forklift with a cracked mast, a slipping transmission or a battery that won't hold a charge still has value as a whole machine, and we'll make you an offer on it as it sits.

If yours still runs well and you just don't need it any more, say so. Running forklifts are worth more, and we price them that way.

Inside the building

Getting it out the door

Most forklifts we collect get driven or towed out to the yard first. When one is stuck inside, behind a narrow roll-up door or up on a loading dock, we need to know before we come.

  • Door width and height
  • Whether it can be towed or pushed out
  • Racking, steps or ramps in the way
  • Floor condition if it has to be dragged

If it needs another forklift or a rigger to get it outside, we'll tell you when we quote, not on pickup day.

Where we pick up forklifts

Shops, yards and warehouses up the 99

Forklifts wear out wherever goods move: shops and warehouses at Function Junction, building supply and lumber yards, the industrial park in Pemberton and the business park in Squamish. We see them on farms and at resorts too.

How it works

Three steps, one pickup

  1. Send the details

Use the form at the top or call. Make, model, roughly how heavy, and whether it runs.

  2. Get a number

We may ask for a photo or two, then call back with an offer for the machine as it sits.

  3. We load it and go

We book a truck that suits the machine and the road, load it, strap it and leave the spot clear.

Questions

Forklift removal FAQ

Do you buy forklifts with dead batteries?

Yes. A flat or worn-out battery is one of the most common reasons a forklift gets parked. Leave the battery in the forklift; we take it as one unit.

Should I remove the propane tank?

Close the valve and take the cylinder off if you can. If you can't, tell us when you book so we can plan for it.

What details help with a forklift quote?

Make, model and year, fuel type, lift capacity, mast type, hours, and whether it drives and lifts. A photo of the data plate near the seat or dash covers most of that.

Can you take more than one forklift?

Yes. If you're replacing a fleet or closing a warehouse, tell us how many there are and where. We'll plan one pickup for the lot if the trucks allow it.

Do you take pallet jacks and walk-behind stackers?

On their own they're usually too light to be worth a truck, but we'll take them along with a forklift or another machine from the same site.

Forklift sitting in the corner?

Call 236-709-3961 or send the form. We'll call back with a number for the machine as it sits.
